When Copia Vintage was founded, it was important for me to consider how to position the collection and to surmise my proposition to you. And two things were evident:

BUYING vintage is buying responsibly: #sustainablefashion undoubtedly works for everyone on the planet.

WEARING vintage needs to work for the individual: it mustn’t feel like dressing-up in costume!

So how to make it work for YOU? There is no code, no trend to follow and no right or wrong - how wonderfully liberating.

You may have a love affair with a certain era or a penchant for a particular designer. Perhaps you have a raving obsession with 80’s pop-culture? Fantastic! But dressing ‘in character’ is not what most of us aspire to.

Simply buy what you’re drawn to, however eclectic! (Although always maintain a sense of what may or may not actually suit you.) The key is to style and blend vintage with your existing wardrobe to define your own territory. A touch of chic? An edge of grunge? A sassy tease? A sense of humour? A hint of vamp, or full-on vixen! Why not?
