Collection: Cacharel

Jean Bousquet, born Nimes, France, 1932. Originally a men’s tailor, he founded his own womenswear business at the start of the 1960s, capturing the downturn of couture and upward mobility of ready-to-wear. His name came to prominence in the mid-1960s with a collaboration with Liberty of London, revamping their prints for the hippie generation.

Cacheral – named after a petit duck, local to the Camargue region.
