Founded by Gaby Aghion in 1952, pioneering luxury ready-to-wear and liberating women from the formal fashion of the era. With a philosophy embodying young, forward-thinking design, each designer at Chloé brought a fresh perspective. Among them; Karl Largerfeld (1974-1988), Martine Stibon (1988-1992), Largerfeld again (1992-1996), before a young Central Saint Martins graduate, Stella McCartney (1997-2001) followed by Phoebe Philo (2001-2006).

The Chloé brand continues to be characterised by a youthful, bohemian aesthetic.
