Collection: Jean-Charles de Castelbajac

Born in 1949, Casablanca. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (also known as JC/DC) established his own label in 1970, after designing in Paris for several years. With boutiques in Paris, Tokyo and New York, de Castelbajac became internationally recognised for his colourful, pop art designs. Having worked with artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Malcolm MacLaren and Lady Gaga, his creations have been exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum and New York’s Institute of Fashion and Technology. He’s also collaborated with global brands such as Lego, Swatch, Ligne Roset and Palace skateboards.

In the 1970s, de Castelbajac designed for Max Mara and for Courreges in the mid-1990s.
